Acupuncture is a time-honored approach to maintaining health and vitality of the body and mind. In addition to being extremely effective at treating pain and injury, acupuncture treatments have been shown to help alleviate seasonal allergies, gastrointestinal distress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, menstrual cycle issues, and more.

Sports Medicine + Orthopedic Acupuncture can be a cornerstone in a recovery or training plan. It addresses muscle imbalances, scar tissue, fascial adhesions, and injury. Our practitioners are skilled in orthopedic assessment that can help identify root causes of pain and movement dysfunction and avoid future injuries.

Massage & Manual Therapy help the body heal from both acute and chronic pain — and are also preventative in nature. Our tailored sessions use techniques such as sports massage, deep tissue, integrative bodywork, myofascial release, craniosacral, and pin and stretch among others.

Cupping therapy has been used for millennia by cultures around the world. It feels like a reverse massage, with a pulling sensation instead of pressure. Cupping increases blood flow, releases muscle tension, and breaks up fascial adhesions. We use it frequently on its own, or combined with acupuncture or massage therapy to treat persistent tightness and pain.

Gua Sha brings blood and lymph from deep in the tissue to the surface, delivering fresh oxygenated blood to muscle and fascial tissue & improving circulation. It is a particularly useful addition to acupuncture in treating back and neck pain, tension headaches, plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, rotator cuff pain, and helping to release chronically stubborn areas.

CLEAR POINTES FACIAL TREATMENT

Targeted treatments to relieve pain, soothe discomfort, and restore balance

Our Clear Pointes Facial Treatment in an effective, multifaceted treatment designed to address conditions like headaches, allergies, jaw pain, and overall tension by targeting key areas of the face, head, and neck. The session typically begins with facial acupuncture, where fine needles are delicately placed at specific points that encourage tension relief, improve circulation, and alleviate discomfort. Facial cupping is used to enhance blood flow and reduce inflammation, working to ease sinus pressure or jaw tension associated with conditions like TMJ. Gentle gua sha, using a smooth tool, is performed to the face to release tight muscles and reduce facial tension. A soothing facial massage further helps to relax muscles, reduce congestion, and promote lymphatic drainage, which can address sinus issues or swelling. Together, these techniques work to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and restore balance to the facial and head areas, providing relief for those suffering from headaches, allergies, jaw pain, or general body stress and tension.
