EM/BODYING THE BASICS
Exercise Class with Liz Ruegg, DPT
Fridays, May - June | 4:00PM | $25
Grow your body’s exercise capacity by learning basic strength movements with load!
This class will teach you the basic movements of exercise using weights/load, dosage, and some fun variations and modifications! Each class will begin with a warm up followed by participatory instruction on the best approach and execution for each exercise movement. Then, we'll complete a targeted workout featuring our learnings.
People with all levels of fitness and experience with exercise are welcome! If the idea of a 'class' feels a bit too formal or overwhelming, don't worry—each session is limited to just 5 people, creating a warm, relaxed setting where you'll get plenty of personal attention and support.
Join us for one class or stick with it for the full series of six. Come try some new things and have fun moving your body!
Week 1: Squats (May 9th)
Week 2: Overhead Press (May 16th)
Week 3: Hinge & Deadlift (May 30th)
Week 4: Midline & Core Strength ( June 13th)
Week 5: Measuring Intensity ( June 20th)
Week 6: Putting It All Together + Cardio ( June 27th)
ABOUT LIZ RUEGG, DPT:
Liz (she/her) is an Oregonian who loves being outdoors in the beautiful PNW and is often out running trails with her wildly adorable puppy, Otis.
As a physical therapist for more than 13 years, Liz is excited about being a professional guide to healing and is familiar with treating a wide variety of ailments from head to toe and all levels of activity from high to low. A highly skilled manual therapy provider with a strong belief in the importance of exercise and movement to meet your life goals, Liz utilizes a fitness forward approach to rehab. She values authenticity and personal connection, and recognizes that therapy should be personalized to you! She strongly believes in an inclusion-and consent-based approach for all individuals, and relies on education and training to decrease fear and improve knowledge as you heal and recover.

Join us weekly in our studio for thoughtful small group yoga practices. With a maximum class size of five, you can expect attentive, compassionate guidance from Alissa Lamb, LAc through soft, nurturing practices designed to support your whole self — body, mind, and spirit.
Are you ready to support your body through movement in an intimate group class that feels welcoming, enjoyable, and accommodating to your specific needs and goals?
This class invites you to practice easy to follow movements, asana, and exercises that are simple, effective, and especially complimentary to acupuncture or massage therapy treatments aimed at musculoskeletal pain relief.
Enjoy improved posture, body awareness, balance and overall mobility and health. Breathing, focus work, and meditation are all included in this approachable and gentle practice. BYO yoga mat and any props you like to use.
